The Summer 2017 issue of Myeloma Minutes, published by the International Myeloma Foundation (IMF), features an article describing our Miles for Myeloma 5K fundraiser. The 2017 Miles for Myeloma 5K raised nearly $100,000 for the IMF.
The International Myeloma Foundation (IMF) has announced that proceeds raised by PMMNG's 2016 Miles for Myeloma fundraiser will be awarded to the Italian multiple myeloma researcher, Nicola Giuliani, to support his research on bone disease related to multiple myeloma.
PMMNG members (and co-founders) Marilyn and Sharon Alexander were featured in an April 17 article in the Philadelphia Inquirer.
The PMMNG's 10th annual Miles for Myeloma 5K Walk/Run was held on Saturday April 28, 2018 in Philadelphia. For the first time in several years, the weather cooperated, and we had a perfect day for the event.

Registration opened today (January 11) for the 2019 Miles for Myeloma 5K Walk/Run. This year's event will be held on Saturday April 27 at the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia. The Miles for Myeloma 5K is the PMMNG's annual major fundraising event.
Just a reminder about the 11th annual Miles 4 Myeloma 5k on Saturday, April 27th at the Please Touch Museum!

We had a great turnout and lots of fun. Special thanks to Carolyn Redmond, our Miles 4 Myeloma Race Director and to the members of the Miles for Myeloma Planning Committee who all put in a ton of work to prepare for the event since even before the first of the year - Barbara Falkowitz, Cynthia Chmielewski, Doug Farrell, Maddie Hunter, Kate Farrell, Ken Kaplan, Marilyn Alexander, Phil Falkowitz, and Sharon Alexander.
