We’ve decided to cancel our end-of-year meeting scheduled for Saturday December 9. Given the weather reports about the imminent storm, we decided to use an abundance of caution so that no one puts themselves at risk to travel. If you know anyone who was planning on attending tomorrow, feel free to reach out to them to insure they know about the cancellation.
We know you will share our disappointment at not being able to come together to share some holiday spirit. We will find a way to begin 2018 in a more festive way than we normally do.
As many of you know, the annual American Hematological Society (ASH) is holding its annual meeting in Atlanta Dec.9-12. The International Myeloma Foundation's (IMF) social media team, including PMMNG's Cindy Chmielewski will be blogging about event.
Our January meeting will feature two speakers from the International Myeloma Foundation.
Due to some unforeseen problems, Donna Capozzi was unable to attend our March meeting. She has rescheduled for our upcoming April meeting.
At our June 9, 2018 PMMNG meeting, Nicole Rode will present a program on how to manage stress and anxiety with a cancer diagnosis. Nicole is a nurse educator for Janssen Pharmaceuticals. She has been a certified oncology nurse for over 20 years and is also a cancer survivor. Please join us for this program, which should be helpful to all of us!

Just a reminder that there will be no monthly PMMNG meeting in August. We'll be taking our annual "vacation."
During our September 8, 2018 PMMNG meeting Colleen Erb will educate us on how to interpret multiple myeloma test results.
Just a reminder that we will not be holding a monthly PMMNG meeting in October. Instead, we encourage you to attend the International Myeloma Foundation's Philadelphia Patient & Family Seminar, which will be held October 12 & 13.
